About the Artist...
A classically trained portrait
artist, I have been painting for the
last 30 years. On one of my early
trips to Italy I discovered the
wealth of beautiful pottery and the
masters who create it. I was
hooked! I have been fortunate to
have trained with some of the finest
contemporary majolica artists and
I am passionate about this
medium, as it allows me to work in
a painterly style while producing a
functional, durable, and beautiful
piece of art!

The Prairie Elk Studio is located
45 miles south of Wolf Point,
Montana on the beautiful
wide-open prairie. My husband
Bruce, son Blair, daughter
Caroline and I live near the studio
and raise Red Angus cattle.
